- No. Resal is a programmable rewards and digital-value infrastructure provider. We are not a SAMA-licensed payments company and do not operate as a bank — we distribute non-cash value, not cash.
- Yes. Resal is built to Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law, holds ISO 27001 certification, and hosts recipient and transaction data inside Saudi Arabia. A named Data Protection Officer is reachable at dpo@resal.me.
- The platform fee and the reward value (the balance you load) are billed separately. Prices are quoted in SAR excluding VAT; VAT is applied per Saudi regulations and itemised on your invoice. Monthly and annual billing are available.
- Resal operates on a 99.99% uptime SLA, independently monitored. Enterprise agreements can include contractual SLA terms and support response times.
- Recipients turn a Resal balance into the value type they prefer: gift cards, Loyalty Exchange (points with integrated providers), Mobile Top-up, or Booking (coming soon). Letting people choose lifts redemption.
